From the initial phone conversation, to the consultation, through the process of selecting colors and materials, to the day of installation and then the follow up phone call to check on our satisfaction, Piper was great. There is no upsell or pressure and she worked with our ideas and budget.  She listened, communicated well, responded to calls and emails in a timely manner, explained any questions we had and kept us informed. Our new home has vaulted ceilings upstairs with a row of high windows all the way around the top. It’s great for natural light in the PNW, but we also had one giant window directly facing the morning sun right over our bed, which wasn’t exactly ideal for sleep. Made in the Shade gave us a bunch of great options, considering budget and intended use, as well as what we might want to do with the other windows later on to make sure we’d have a clean and consistent aesthetic. Laid back, professional, and with zero pressure every step of the way. Even ended up getting our new blind completed and installed faster than we expected, with a highly conscientious installer who took great care around our walls and furniture. Dan helped us select the perfect motorized solar shades for our west-facing windows that dampen the intensity of the setting sun while preserving our view of the sunset over Lake Sammamish.
